In Memory of My Father on Memorial Day
In loving memory of my father on Memorial Day. He served his country during World War II, from 1941 to 1947, in the US Navy. He attained the rank of Chief Yeoman and served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CV4).
He died in 1995 and not a day goes by that I don't miss him.
It's nice that you have fond memories of your dad and his service to our
country. I went to a BBQ today and all the "old men" were talking about
their military service. It made for some interesting listening.
Nuff said, Will! We should all be grateful for the legacies fo our fathers.
