With gas prices rapidly approaching four dollars a gallon in the US, more and more people are trying to unload their gas guzzling SUVs and large pickup trucks. Car dealerships are likewise offering previously unheard-of good deals just to get the damned things off their lots. This is a trend that can only continue as gas prices continue to skyrocket.

I'm thinking the owners of these vehicles are taking a loss. The paper had
a bit the other day about one of the auto makers furloughing SUV builders
and sending them over to the compact car lines.
