I made a run to the library the other day and stocked up on some books I'd been looking to read:

What have you been reading lately?
The last work of fiction I read was Joshua Clark's Heart Like Water. It was
wonderful. The Conservatives Have No Clothes seems to have an interesting
premise, since I've long believed that it's all branding and no action.
Also, Dorothy Allison is supposedly a distant cousin. Enjoy.
Paul Krugman was on Bill Maher last week. His book looks interesting. The
Conservatives Have No Clothes sounds like they are putting a face to the
old tale of The Emperor's New Clothes. I need a library card. I keep
dipping into the bag of books my family keeps donating to me.
Entertaining, but not very educating.
Thanks, Catty! I missed this going to N.O. and am going to watch it On
Demand before tonight's episode. I think the next thing(s) I want to read
are Naomi Klein's work. I've watched a bunch of video interviews with her
and think she's spot on.
